In order to develope their environment and build complete architecture, client may need particular DNS to expose their services. TDP platform offer you to take the ownership on a DNS zone, delegate by our Network team Reserved your own DNS zone that fit your Project name

Either large and small cloud architecture have to be resolve on specfic FQDN, DNS delegation is quite a solution if you need to managed your own DNS zone

First let's refer to the Post It Item DNS Delegation request

This item mainly focus on Innovate subscription. Industrialize subscription are provided with Private DNS zone

How to create my DNS zone​

There is dfifferent way to create your DNS zone, we gona show you the basics way thanks to Azure Portal

  1. First go over your market place and select DNS zone, click create and fill with the appropriate information

  1. Review it and then craete it, after création go to your DNS and note that your DNS zone have 4 principals Names servers

How to ask for a DNS Delegation​

Prerequisite​

Refering to the Post iT Item, we ask you several information

  • DNS zone already created: In some case you already create the DNS zone and wait for delegation action
  • CISO approvation: please feal with your CISO name for validation

DNS Information​

  • Name Server list: the same we saw in the previous part
  • DNS zone Name: the one who created

This demande is quite straight foward and there is no particular blocking point. When delegation donen, all your record are available and resolvable
